Dosas and Uttapams are crepes made of fine ground rice and lentils cooked on a flat griddle. These gluten-free treats can be stuffed with a variety of fillings and are enjoyed throughout South India and beyond accompanied with the pea and vegetable stew Sambar and coconut chutney.

Dosas are the best known South Indian dish. They are large crepes or pancakes usually made from ground rice and lentils which are often served with a variety of fillings. Dosas and Uttapams are served with Sambhar and coconut chutney.
